As others have mentioned, it was not easy to hold it together when meeting Tseganesh in person. Such a delightful and engaging young lady that has brought to life that photo on our refrigerator. 5 brothers and sisters and a gracious mother and father. Dad got the frisbee who I explained this was part of my survival in raising kids. Tseganesh, 12 years old, wants to be a nurse, and had her best friend Ganet by her side. The difficult moment was showing her the video from my girls attempting to greet her in her language. The reality of the gap between us mixed with the joy of the work of World Vision in her life giving her renewed hope was simply beyond my capacity. I look forward to walking life with her from a few miles away.
