I visited with my sponsored child, Netsanet Sintayehu, and her family today. When I visited in 2014 they were living in a mud and stick hut - 7 Family members and two cows. The first thing they wanted to show me was the new much larger mud and stick house they had built earlier this year. They thanked me for the house because they said they used the money that David and I sent them to build their house and buy two cows over the last two years. The house was a complete surprise to me and when I think about how very little we did give them and the difference it made in their lives, I am brought to tears. We have so much and they have so little and yet they are joyful and they gave all the glory to God several times. They are a family of great faith. I am so privileged and humbled to know and love this beautiful family.
