At 4:40 pm PST, the little screen on the Air Canada seat in front of me reads "en route". We certainly are, but without our trusted guide Lorraine who could not make the connecting flight and is on her way back to LA as they help her with alternate plans to Addis Ababa (I do love that name). The 7 of us are scattered around the plane getting various amounts of sleep and sustenance. Sandi is in charge of the exit door should a situation arise. Good choice Air Canada.
Our plan is continued prayer for God's leading, as much rest as possible, and to continue en route for now.
Luke 24:15:
"As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them."
The Resurrection account Jeff will preach about on the day we return is this story of two disciples en route.
Pray for Jesus to walk with us and that we may discuss what God is up to as we walk along.
Pray for Lorraine's unexpected timing.
Also for the Philleos. Their bags are so small we are worried they forgot clothing.
